Direction To 115 East 61st Street

LaGuardia and Kennedy Airports:

For our Out-of-town Visitors, each airport has either taxicab stands or bus service (to Grand Central Station). The taxis run by meter from LaGuardia Airport and have a fixed-rate from Kennedy. They will take you directly to the center. The bus will take you to Grand Central Railroad Terminal where you can take the IRT subway uptown to 59th street. This exit is 2 blocks from the office. An alternative method is to take the third avenue bus uptown to 60th street. The office is located between Park and Lexington Avenues at 115 East 61st Street.

For our Long Island Visitors, most of you like to drive via the Long Island Expressway to the Midtown Tunnel, or the 59th Street Bridge. There are parking garages on 61st Street just east and west of 3rd Avenue, just east of Lexington Avenue, and just west of Park Avenue. If possible, the Long Island Railroad is a better choice. The number 4 bus stops directly east - across from the 7th Avenue exit from Penn Station - Madison Square Garden. The number 4 bus will take you up Madison Avenue to approximately 2 blocks west of the center. For the more courageous, consider taking the RR train uptown (an underground walk beneath Penn Station). The RR will take you to 59th Street and Lexington. This is 2 blocks from the center. A taxicab will gladly take you from Penn Station as well. All in all, we prefer the bus.

For our New Jersey Visitors, the Path train will take you to Penn Station as well. If you live too far north, south, east or west you will likely be taking the train to Penn Station. If you are traveling by car, you will take one of the tunnels or the George Washington Bridge and should look for parking. There are parking garages on 61st Street just east of 3rd Avenue, just east of Lexington Avenue, and just west of Park Avenue.

For our Westchester and Rockland County Visitors, Metro-North Trains will take you to Grand Central Railroad Terminal where you can take the IRT subway uptown to 59th street. This exit is 2 blocks from the office. An alternative method is to take the third avenue bus uptown to 60th street. The office is located between Park and Lexington Avenues on 61st Street. It is easy to get back to the Grand Central Terminal using the Lexington Avenue bus. If you must drive, we usually take the Triboro or Willis Avenue Bridges to the FDR Drive South. You should exit the FDR at 63rd Street and make the first left onto York Avenue. You should make the next right onto 61st Street heading west. There are parking garages on 61st Street just east of 3rd Avenue, just east of Lexington Avenue, and just west of Park Avenue.
